Kyokushin Budo Kai

Kancho Raffi Liven and his connection to Kyokushin Budo Kai and Kyokushin Kai.

For almost 20 years Kancho Raffi Liven has been an active member of the Kyokushin Budo Kai Organization, and is currently the Dai Shihan in Denmark!

This letter was written by Kancho Jon Bluming to Kancho Raffi Liven in 1989.

This is the personal message written to Kancho Raffi Liven from Kancho Jon Bluming. It says:

"May the Gods smile Upon You! Osu. Jon Bluming, Kaicho of the IBK, for one of the best teachers and fighters I have ever seen. My friend Raffi Liven 9th Dan of the IBK.'

The Euro-Asian Kyukushinkai Championship 1998 in Russia.

In may 1998 Shihan Liven was invited to Russia, as a chief referee and a guest of honor to the Euro-Asian Kyukushinkai Championships held in the beautiful town by the Black Sea, Novorossiysk. At the same time the Sho Shin Karate Do Russia Organization asked him to be the coach for their competitors. On this trip he took two of his strongest fighters with him: Ariel Mastof who short time before became the world heavyweight champion of the Kubokan full contact tournament in Tokyo Japan, for the 3'th year in a row. Ariel Mastof also is a Kyukushinkai national champion of heavyweight. The second fighter was Arman Raydler.
